Live Streaming Internet Video Solution with No-Download Player

LiveCam 1.0 is an appliance product designed specifically for a single task – the encoding and broadcast of streaming video.  The video source can be either live video feed or recorded material from a VCR.

How Does LiveCam Work?
LiveCam provides unprecedented ease of use to the video viewer.  Viewers simply go to a website URL.  Once the webpage loads, the video and audio start to play automatically.  Once the viewer leaves the website, the streaming video broadcast ends.

What Can I Expect To See?
LiveCam video image is clear and larger (320x240 pixels) than even the common non-live video players. 
LiveCam 1.0 images refresh at a rate of  about 3-15 frames per second (fps).  Depending on the viewer bandwidth

How Many Users Can LiveCam 1.0 Support?
LiveCam 1.0 can provide video for hundreds of simultaneous viewers.   The limiting factor on viewers is not LiveCam technology itself, but the 

 bandwidth the web host has available.  With an ISDN connection, LiveCam can support tens of viewers, with a T1 or T3 connection, the host can support hundreds of viewers.

How to Broadcast Video with LiveCam

There are only four easy steps to running LiveCam:

1. LiveCam is installed by plugging the unit to a power source,  a video source, and the Internet.

2. Livecam is configured using the autoconfiguration tool that comes up at boot time.  Just set your IP gateway, and volume levels (for Audio and your ready to go!

3. To incorporate video onto an existing website, the web host simply includes a line into the HTML file.
